今日はとても嬉しい知らせが入りまして、気分が最高です。

居円の夏場、宇治市にある京都大学ラグビー場を芝生化したことはここで紹介済みですが、コーチからはこのメッセージが届きました。

「芝生化の効果で大学は関西のＢリーグで4位となりました。
たかが関西Ｂリーグの4位ですが、当チームにとっては
これまでの20年で最高の順位です。
あらためて御礼申し上げます」

自分のことの様に嬉しいです。素直に。書き込みしてい今でも微笑みが止まらないです。

Today I am in a wonderful mood, having received some very good news.

Readers of this blog will know that last year we helped convert the rugby ground at Kyoto University to grass and today the coach sent me the following message by e-mail:

"Thanks to the grass field, our team came 4th in the Kansai B League this season. It is only 4th in the Kansai B League, but this is Kyoto University's highest position for 20 years. Thank you again for all your help."

I am as happy as if it were my own team, genuinely pleased.

I can't stop smiling to myself as I type this.
